Welcome to my blog! Years ago, I blogged and loved sharing my creative work and stories.  I believe the world needs our blogs back and I believe we need a permanent place to store our words and photos.  Here, I'll be sharing my finished art, works in progress on my easel, plein air adventures and art trips, past Instagram art, and fun topics like Friday favorites, an inspiration board of who and what is inspiring me (guests, Pinterest pins, books, quotes, products and more), tools, tips & tricks, in my studio posts, deep thoughts  and so much more.  I'm glad you are here...grab a cup of coffee and come back often to see what I'm up to.  I love to read comments, so feel free to leave a note.

Your process makes me think of a word that I recently came across in a book, the word palimpsest. It is defined as something reused or altered, but still bearing traces of its original form. The way you build up your layers , each leaves traces of the layers before. Interesting and fun to think about in an esoteric way. Similar to pentimento.

I am so happy to see you have your own website! Instagram is so noisy these days. It will be nice to have the quiet of a website where you can write and share photos. Looking forward to your blog posts!
